⚠️ Important: If this is your first time visiting our clinic, you must book an Initial Acupuncture Visit. Return visits are for existing patients only.

What to Expect
A new patient visit typically lasts up to 90 minutes, while follow-up visits are generally shorter.

To ensure a smooth and effective visit:
Eat a light meal 1–2 hours before your appointment
Do not come on an empty stomach
Wear loose, comfortable clothing
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and stimulants beforehand
Bring any relevant lab results, test reports, or medication/supplement lists

We will discuss:
Your primary concerns and symptoms
Overall health and well-being
Lifestyle factors such as diet and sleep
This allows us to understand your condition holistically and answer any questions you may have.
Lifestyle, dietary, and exercise recommendations may also be discussed. -
Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic methods may include:
Pulse diagnosis
Tongue and facial observation
Palpation and range of motion testing (if pain-related)
These help determine your diagnosis and treatment plan.

Once your treatment plan is established:
You will lie comfortably on a treatment bed and acupuncture needles will be placed
You will rest for approximately 30–45 minutes
Additional therapies may be used depending on your condition:
Cupping
Gua sha
Moxibustion
Electrical stimulation
Acupressure / Tuina

If appropriate, herbal formulas may be prescribed in granule (powder) form for convenience.
These will be prepared in our clinic and available for pickup after your visit.
